LIFE AFTER DEATH
“Life After Death” is a moving documentary that follows two Americans who lost a loved one on 9/11 as they travel to Amman and Madrid to meet with Arab and European victims of terror. Traveling with an international film crew, an American mother and daughter cross religious, cultural and language barriers to share their experiences of losing loved ones at the hands of terrorists. They also confront the changes in their lives, their relationship with each other and their world views. As they engage with family members of victims from the 11/9 Amman hotel bombings and the 3/11 Madrid train bombings, they uncover the universal human toll from extremist violence. Their collective messages of pain, endurance and hope, serve to repudiate and marginalize the use of terror.

The second season of the hit series, On the Road in America, follows Lama, who grew up in Saudi Arabia, Sara from Lebanon, Bash from Egypt and a Palestinian refugee, Joseph, on a cross-country road trip to learn about American culture. Their journey begins in Los Angeles and continues to Washington DC via the Southern route; each episode provides context for exploring relevant issues such as capitalism, Western expansionism, religious diversity and racism. The cast sees and experiences what they have asked to see: Lama wants to meet the homeless and the poor, Bash wants to meet a Jewish family and party in Las Vegas, Sara wants to sing and perform on stage, and Joseph wants to meet the equivalents to the Palestinians in America – the Native Americans and the disenfranchised residents of urban projects.

One Woman Show. Stand-up comedy series with Cinemoz. Shaden Esperanza is arguably the funniest comedian in Lebanon and she’s gay. Shaden was the pilot for a series on Arab Standup Comedians now in its third season on Netflix.
